Come to Class Prepared

Make sure you have: something to write with, your interactive notebook/warm up workbook, your binder/folder, headphones, your outside reading book (when each is assigned), bring your completed homework in with you (when it is due), have on open mind, and be ready to have fun learning stuff and things =)

Classroom Policies

-UTILIZE YOUR PASSBOOK. Must be yours, must be signed, and ask if you can go somewhere (don’t just thrust the passbook in my face, please).

-PHONES AND HEADPHONES ARE TO BE AWAY UNLESS I GIVE THE GO AHEAD. There will be times I will allow you to use it…other than that, keep your hands/fingers off of it (first time caught - verbal warning, each time thereafter is a write up and a phone call and email home).

-DO YOUR OWN WORK. No copying/plagiarizing,  no taking pictures of someone else’s work to use, no copying/pasting. Don’t do it. The consequence will be swift (0 for you, 0 for anyone else involved, writing up, phone calls).

-BE RESPECTFUL. You don’t have to like everyone, but you must respect everyone while in my classroom. Bullying/lack of common decency will not be tolerated.

-BUTT IN THE BLUE. You must be in your seat when the bell rings at the start of class, and until the bell rings at the end of class. Your locker, your next classroom, and anything else will still be there after the bell rings. No lining up at the door.

Class Procedures

-COME TO CLASS PREPARED!

-“DO THE THING!” (review board for daily objectives, begin working on warm up, have homework ready to be collected, get ready to have a good time)

-IF/WHEN ABSENT, CHECK THE “WHILE YOU WERE OUT” FOLDER!

-BE RESPECTFUL!

FLIPPED CLASSROOM

You may notice a tab entitled "Videos and Links" at the top of this web page. IT WILL BE USED. You are responsible for watching the videos/following the links in order to gain the information needed to be successful in class and on your assignments for this year.  Videos will be uploaded frequently (I will always let you know in class when a video is available) and available for you to watch at any time.

Why is this so awesome?
BECAUSE if you are having problems with the material, you can "stop," "pause," and/or "rewind" the video and watch as often as you need to in order to grasp the concept (can't do that in real-time with me in B7!)

Et Cetera...

PLEASE talk to me if you have an issue with something in the classroom. B7 is a safe space. Challenges will arise, but we must work together to overcome them.

Policies and rules are listed in classroom.

You and you alone are responsible for the textbooks/outside reading books given to you. They are all required to be returned at the end of the year or else you won’t walk (not my rule; school says so).

The best way to contact me is via the school email

(kopsitzl@lcmrschools.com). I DO NOT USE MICROSOFT365.

You don't want to get caught on your phone in her class! I kept on trying to text bae but I was always caught. I almost wasn't able to go to prom from the write ups. Don't be like me.
